Maryland's Governor's Office

Thoughts on the Governor's office
Some personal thoughts on the present Governor of Maryland, I found it interesting he will spend so much time criticising the former Republican Governors policies of supporting slot machines, but as soon as he is elected Gov. he proposes the same of the very some policies.
As it should be noted how he spends so much time blaming the former Governor for the budget crises, but he fails to realize the 2.7 billion dollar deficit Gov Ehlrich. inherited from the previous Democrat Governor.
When Gov Ehlrich was elected he was able to contain the budget deficit by proposing a hiring freeze on state employees and cutting wasteful spending. All of this was done without raising the states sales taxes or income taxes. Gov. Ehrlich left office with a surplus in the states rainy day fund. Now that Maryland has a Democratic Governor again his solution to balancing the state budget is the raise income taxes and sales taxes, then propose new taxes on the service sector industry. It is time the present governor stop blaming the former Governor Erich for the problems in state government. He should focus more on doing his job as Governor, and act more "gubernatorial" As it should be noted now that Gov. Ehrlich is out of office he has not once criticized the present Governor and his policies. Former Governor Ehrlich has been a true statesmen after being defeated.
I welcome any comments or suggestion you may have regarding Maryland's Governor.
Best Regards!

I thank you for visiting my blog your comments and suggestions are most important to me. It is my goal to build a grass roots network of fiscal conservatives throughout Maryland and the Nation. As we work to end one party rule in Maryland by restoring fiscal accountability in the State House.
Respectfully Yours!
